Meet the Founder/CEO
Hi, I’m Ashley Downton. I have always believed in the power of storytelling. From a young age, I wrote short stories, embraced music and movement, and enjoyed learning.
This passion led to a degree in journalism and women’s studies, a way for me to partner with others to speak up. I then cre8ed a 14-year communications career in Sacramento, CA supporting those in need through a nonprofit organization and helping to build the City of Rancho Cordova. I am a proud Sac State alum (stingers up!) and serve on the Public Relations Society of America California Capital Chapter Board.
In 2023, I embarked on a new journey to follow my passions. Throughout my life, I have had the honor of telling the remarkable stories of diverse people, businesses and organizations.
Cre8 by Downton is my way of not just bringing more stories to life, but empowering people to use their voice, so we can change the world one idea and one story at a time.
